Safety Meetings
The Fort Meade Flying Activity holds quarterly Safety Meetings which are MANDATORY for all members to attend. These meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday in the months of March, June, September, December and last for approximately two hours. The purpose of these meetings is to ensure that all FMFA pilots are up to date on all of the current club and airport related safety issues.Upcoming Safety Meetings

The venue for the upcoming safety meetings will be Hanger 80 in space that the club rents from Tipton Airport Authority for club aircraft maintenance
Required Safety Courses:
Assigned March 2009 - "Face to Face, Eye to Eye". Copies are available in the club for check-out, or you can view it at the TV station. The video is also available at http://flyrightfilms.com/?page_id=12.
Assigned June 2009 - "Weather Wise - Thunderstorms & ATC". This is an free online AOPA Air Safety Foundation course which includes Wings credit.
Assigned September 2009 - "Flat-Hatting 1944 Aviation Training Manual ".
